Mark C. Yezak, B.S., D.C.
Chiropractic Director, Owner HSRC
Dr. Yezak established The Houston Spine and Rehabilitation Centers in 1996 as a multi-disciplinary clinic specializing in pain treatment. He is an accomplished chiropractor with over 11 years of experience in the chiropractic and rehabilitation fields. Dr. Yezak was named in 2005 as one of Houston's Top Docs by H Texas Magazine and has consistently been ranked among the top ten chiropractors in the Houston area. He has had many hours of training for the Diplomat of Chiropractic Orthopedics at the Texas Back Institute (TBI). His extensive educational background includes the Pre-Medicine program at Sam Houston State University, and Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Texas Chiropractic College.
Dr. Yezak offers significant expertise in relieving joint dysfunction, reducing pain, improving range of motion and increasing flexibility and overall performance. He has proven success in treating pain and is proficient in collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to assure thorough diagnosis and effective, broad-based patient care.
Scott G. Neuburger, B.S., B.B.A., D.C.
Chiropractic Director, Partner HSRC
Dr. Neuburger serves as partner of the Houston Spine and Rehabilitation Centers where he oversees the patient care, day-to-day operations and marketing of all six HSRC locations. He has a Bachelor's in Business Administration in Marketing, a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College. His dedication to HSRC can be proven by his commitment to all of his patients and their rehabilitative needs.
Todd R. Custer, D.C., A.T.C.
Chiropractor, HSRC Willis
Dr. Custer joined The Houston Spine and Rehabilitation Centers in October 2005 as the manager of the Willis location. He provides quality chiropractic and rehabilitation services as well as manages the daily operations and staff. Custer received a Bachelor of Science in Education/Athletic Training in 1994 and went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic from The Texas Chiropractic School. He has held previous positions as an athletic trainer with the Philadelphia Eagles football team, a sports medicine clinical therapist and a high school athletic trainer.
Dr. Jason Schell, B.S., D.C.
Chiropractor, HSRC Sugar Land
Dr. Schell is the director of the Sugar Land location and specializes in physical medicine. Dr. Schell is a graduate of the Texas Chiropractic College and attended Texas A&M University for pre-med studies and received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Dr. Schell is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Texas Chiropractic Association. He has practiced and is licensed in Texas and Ohio, and has treated countless patients ranging in age from infants to older patients in their 90s. An expert in the field of spinal trauma relating to automobile accidents, Dr. Schell has participated in advanced medical rotations in the Texas Medical Center in such disciplines as orthopedics, neurosurgery and internal medicine.
Dr. R. Alan Moore
Owner, Pain Management Center of Houston
Dr. Moore specializes in pain management where he often creates a therapeutic regimen that can help his patients manage their pain. Such therapy may include injections, medications and implantable devices. He has been in the private practice of anesthesiology and pain management in the Houston area since 1982. Moure graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine in 1976.
Dr. Glenn Bricken
Clinical Psychologist, Chronic Pain Recovery Center of The Woodlands
Dr. Bricken is a clinical psychologist with 20 years of experience in medical and health psychology, including pre-surgical evaluations, the treatment of anxiety disorders and chronic pain utilizing hypnosis and biofeedback, and providing patients with emotional support for the psychological trauma associated with a catastrophic illness or injury (such as a work related injury or a major surgery).
Dr. Bricken is the director of an intensive, daily multi-disciplinary pain management program at the Chronic Pain Recovery Center of The Woodlands. This program includes both psycho-education and physical conditioning. Therapy pool and state-of-the-art biofeedback equipment allows the physical therapy and psychotherapy treatment team to provide expert chronic pain care.
M. Corey Thompson, D.C.
Chiropractor, HSRC
Dr. Thompson provides chiropractic care and treatment to HSRC patients and addresses their conditions with his extensive chiropractic knowledge. A graduate of Texas Chiropractic College, Thompson has held positions and treated patients in settings ranging from family practice to sports medicine. In his free time, he is a team doctor for the Northland Christian School athletic teams.
David I. Howie, M.D.
Orthopedic Surgeon, Howie Orthopedic Clinic
Dr. Howie is owner of the Howie Orthopedic Clinic, specializing in orthopedic surgery and care. Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons in 1995, Howie contributes his orthopedic services to the HSRC, providing patients with a variety of rehabilitation options.
Dr. Nelson K. Bond
Manager, Interventional Pain Management Practice
Dr. Bond is dedicated to providing patients with many alternatives to treatment of pain. His residency in Internal Medicine and Anesthesia as well as a fellowship in Trauma and Critical Care Medicine, has given Bond extensive knowledge regarding invasive surgical and non-surgical procedures. His critical and holistic evaluations of his patients allow him to integrate a successful comprehensive management program. Bond has over 10 years of valuable experience in the pain management field and continues to carry this experience into his day-to-day interactions with HSRC patients.
