Aquatic physical therapy is a specialized treatment method is conducted in a safe and controlled water environment. This is a type of therapy that is great for you if you cannot handle much pressure or weight on your joints.

Land Therapy

Land therapy is a type of physical therapy that involves therapeutic activity on land to promote healing and athletic performance. (This is in contrast with “aqua therapy,” which is performed in water for less impact and resistance).

PAIN MANAGEMENT

Our pain management procedures include injections that comprise another surgical treatment option for low back pain. They are typically considered as an option to treat low back pain after a course of medications and/or physical therapy is completed, but before surgery is considered. Injections can be useful both for providing pain relief and as a diagnostic tool to help identify the source of the patient’s pain.

Epidural Steroid Injections

Epidural steroid injections (ESIs) are a common treatment option for many forms of lower back pain and leg pain. They have been used for decades and are considered an integral part of a pain management physician's care for these symptoms.

Joint Injections

A steroid injection is a minimally invasive procedure that can relieve pain caused by an inflamed joint. Causes of joint pain include arthritis, injury, and degeneration and are administered by our pain management physician.

Nerve Blocks

Often a group of nerves, called a plexus or ganglion, that causes pain to a specific organ or body region can be blocked with the injection of medication into a specific area of the body. The injection of this nerve-numbing substance is called a nerve block.
